| My routes,
tracks and marks are not being saved when I have finished
using the unit. |
The program
is not being exited properly before the unit is switched
off. |
To save your routes, tracks amd marks always exit the
program by tapping the menu button and then the red
cross. You can then turn power off to the device. |
| I have
transferred a map to the S7000 but it will not open, giving
the message: Could not open file: "\SDMMC Card\Maps\OS50_R1.QCT"
or similar. |
The map
is too large for the device to open. |
Maps need to be 400MB or under to open on the Adventurer
S7000. For details on how to send maps in sections please
refer to the online
User Guide.
Please note this does not apply to Digital Map Shop
maps, which can be much larger. |
| I have
transferred a map to the device but it does not appear
in the map list |
The map
list has not been updated. |
In Memory-Map on the
S7000 tap the Menu and Settings button and then select
Maps... from the list. Tap the Refresh button and the
map list will be updated. |
| When I start Memory-Map on My S7000 I get a message along the lines that the serial number of the SD card does not match the SD card in the device, or that my maps/GPS are not licenced. |
Due to a technical issue a number of Adventurer Pilot 7000 units left the warehouse with unlicenced SD cards. |
Download and follow the steps in the technical support bulletin to licence the SD card manually. |
| If I try to open or save an overlay file on my S7000 I get an error message |
A file on your S7000 needs to be updated. |
Connect the device to the PC and
use Windows to explore the SD Card in the device.
Open the folder Memory-Map and then settings. Open the file loadsavefolder.ini and edit the text to say:
/SDMMC/USERDATA
and then save the file. |
| I have
put a new SD card in the device and Memory-Map starts
ok but gives the message: "The license for resource
'GPS Features' has not been activated." |
The new
SD does not have the correct files on it. |
Please use only the SD card provided with the unit. |
