What is the National Cycle Network
'Do you ever wonder what life might be like if we travelled in ways that actually benefited our health and our environment?
We'd have safer roads, cleaner air and a better quality of life. Sustrans is a practical, doing charity. Every day we are working on innovative and imaginative ways of overcoming the transport challenges affecting us all.'
The National Cycle Network from Sustrans has over 12,000 miles of walking and cycle routes on traffic-free paths, quiet lanes and in traffic-calmed areas. It is the charity behind Safe Routes to School, Bike It and other sustainable transport schemes all aimed at getting you safely to work or school or just out and about.
Now the National Cycle Network is available with Memory-Map.
