I believe that when moving the mouse along an elevation profiles a red dot should show along the route on the map corresponding with the same point on the profile. The red iot os showing on the profile but not on the route. Please advise how I can get both to show.

I think I've seen that on occasions. Have you tried changing the map and/or restarting MM? Might you have more than one track/route overlaying each other?
