I have activated a number of OS Explorer map areas on my Iphone. These areas are not activate on my laptop. Please can you advise why this is. The credit was purchased on my laptop.

Typically, the activations for the OS maps are specific to a device. If you have X amount of activation for PC, you can activate some or all of that one a single PC. The same applies for the mobile device activations, but the PC activations are separate from the mobile activations.

Similar question for Android & PC

If I activate some 1:25000 map portions on my Android handset, (or otherwise download maps from the digital map shop) will I be able to see them on my PC?

Map licences are supposed to be valid for up to 5 devices, so it should work both ways, yes?

When you say "map licenses", understand that only specific map licenses are valid on 5 devices. As we have users all over the world, maps from many providers, and each requires different license agreements...many maps do not work this way.

With the new OS licenses, you can use those maps on five devices. These can be any combination of PC, laptop, and mobile.
