Dear all,

I am interested to use 3rd party maps (e.g. Openstreetmap) on my iphone with the MM app.
What type of licence do I require for this purpose?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Heiko

Importing third party maps requires the Import Maps resource. This is normally purchased as a Navigator license, or as a Navigator upgrade.

Hi,

But do beware that AFAIK MM can only import a few specific types of map file (usually via the PC software). You may need another app (or PC program) to import/convert/calibrate OSM files.

Cheers, Alan.

Correct. You can activate a demo of the feature on the PC and verify that you can import the maps you want. Typically, the program will import TIFF, BSB, GeoTIFF, PNG and JPG (with JGW file) formats.
