All of our software on all operating systems requires the import maps license to view a third party map. This is something we have to do to protect the rights of the third party map publisher, because our software converts the map from the publishers format (which may be encrypted) to the qct map format.
However, anyone who has a licensed copy of the PC software needed to import the third party map already has the mobile device license to go with it. All you need to do is sign in to your account and activate it.
Regrettably, the original versions of the iphone app did not enforce the import map license, but now it does. Legitimate users of our PC software with third party maps should not be inconvenienced at all.
on the PC i have import 3rd party license full/no expiry, checked online and can see that it was activated for my PC "Thu Mar 5 2009 Activated Import Maps", but how do i enable the license on the iphone / ipad as they report no license?
my 3rd party maps are mine shaft locations i have created myself. all other memory-map maps work fine with the new version.
Thanks
