Am having trouble activating/finding some maps that were activated on my iphone.

I was having problems when I first bought the iphone app but got it working fine.

Now though, only a fw of my activated maps remain on the device. I seem to have lost all of my UK 1:25k and 1:50k activated portions.

Can someone help please? Was preparing for a trip this weekend and would appreciate some quick support.

I logged on via the user panel and have attempted to migrate licences back to my iphone but it seems to have failed.

Cheers

You did a migration from your ipad to your iPhone, when it looks like you meant to move the licenses from iphone to ipad.

When you do a migration, the old device cannot be used to activate new licenses.

I have undone the migration, so you can now use the ipad to activate new licenses, and you can migrate from iphone to ipad, if that is what you decide you want to do.

Ah, thanks Richard.

I downloaded the iPad app just to have a quick look at the capability etc but then uninstalled as I prefered using the app on my iphone.

What steps should I take to move the licences back to my iphone?

Thanks again for getting back to me so quickly.

The license has been moved back to your iPhone, but I also see that you are activating the 2012 OS maps. Ensure when you view the maps (either through MORE MAPS > DIGITAL MAP SHOP or MORE MAPS > ALL MAPS ON DEVICE), that you select MAP TYPES > SHOW ALL to ensure the old edition maps are showing.

I'm afraid it doesn't seem to be working. I still don't have my old UK 1:25k and 1:50k maps back.

I tried logging in and migrating the licenses again to my iphone but that doesn't seem to have solved the problem either.

Have you any other suggestions?

Thanks

If you go to the map folder > MORE MAPS > DIGITAL MAP SHOP (then, check MAP TYPES > SHOW ALL), you should see the listing OS 1:25k Explorer (old edition) in the list. Select this map. Does it load to your device?

Thanks for your promt reply USmmtech.

Unfortunately no, the old maps don't appear. The only old map that shows up in that list in the 1:250k Gb Road Atlas.

Any other ideas? Cheers.

When you go to the map folder > MORE MAPS > DIGITAL MAP SHOP (with the UK showing on the basemap), and then select MAP TYPES, do you see TOPO - OLD EDITION in the list of map types?
