1. The Android app will take any size map, but there is a 4GB limit is imposed by the FAT file system.
The iphone app only takes up to 2GB, so there are many maps you can put on Android whole, that need carving up on iphone.
2. Save the overlays as a GPX file, and put them in /Download/Memory-Map folder on the Android device.
They must be GPX files, not MMO files.
They must be in the /Download/Memory-Map folder, not in any sub-folders.
If the device has built-in and removeable storage (both accessible from the PC) it will be the built-in area.
If you use the Save command in the Android app, it saves as a GPX file in the correct folder. You can use this to locate the folder when the phone is connected to your PC.
