If you configure the 2800 to auto-power off after a time period, then power it on again, Memory Map is shown, but it will then either:
- crash with a Windows error popup
- freeze requiring a restart from scratch
So far as I can tell there's no way to turn off a 2800 and leave Memory Map running, then turn it on again - so this means you need to restart from scratch and start Memory Map each time.
Is there any way round this?
edwh,
On this forum somwhere is a reference to your post, basically the autopower off setting was never intended to be used with the adventurer
2800, remarks from simon indicate this was originally set up for third party apps, do not use this setting it will crash the unit.
this doesn't effect the backlight setting, which when set will allow you to get the most out of your battery, hope this helps
