Hi, have downloaded small 1;25000 map from dms got it on my pc licenced it and i can work with it, got it on my 2800 and licenced it.
when i bring up the map on the 2800 there is just a white screen with a matrix of crosses on it.
What am I doing wrong?

You probably only have to search for the area that you have purchased. Can be a bit fiddly.

when i go into license information on the 2800 either through the unit or the pc it says os explorer (25k) "none no expiration"
is that correct?

Yep thats right. Perhaps you could create a small map on the pc. Transfer it to the 2800 then go and look for it, that should bring up the correct map too. You have refreshed maps on 2800 I suppose.

if I go into the 2800 and click on the file I sent there it comes up with a huge pixelated map?

it gets worse ive just deleted the map I bought off the pc any ideas how i get it back?

the problem was me not reading the instructions! I was sending the map with out enclosing it. :oops:
as far as replacing the map was concerned you just down load it again and you dont get recharged.

Aha. Like me at first. Just skipped thro the manual without reading it properly.
