Hi

I'm using the Memory Map App on my HTC Wildfire S with a good deal of success, only the odd unexplained closure.

I've just got a 9.7 Android Tablet (Scroll Extreme) running Android 4 (ICS) and have installed the app on there.

The app seems to start and run fine, but when I need to switch on the ALL MAP TYPES in the menu, the window that opens that should give the option of Land/Topo is only large enough to show the Topo option, so I can't select the other map types in order to use the OS maps that I have on the SD card.

Is there any way around this, or is there any chance of a version of the app that has both map types selected by default on installation?

Cheers

I have not seen a Scroll Extreme. Is the window very small, or the font very large? Are you able to scroll at all within the window?

Hi, thanks for the quick response. No, the window seems regular sized, at least in terms of width and layout, and the font seems normal, it's just only got the one option visible in the window (TOPO), whereas when I go to the same function on my phone, there are two lines, showing TOPO and LAND.

Everything else in app seems to work just fine, but at the moment it's only using the pre-installed road map, as I can't get to this option to turn on use of my OS maps.

Cheers

It sounds more like the app is not seeing the maps vice a display issue. When you installed the app, it should have created a download / Memory-Map folder. Is this where you placed the maps?

SORTED!!

You are indeed correct, the app wasn't seeing the OS2012 maps. It appears the app isn't seeing the SD card occurrence of the Download>Memory-Map folder structure, only the internal memory folder. I've placed the maps there for now and it works. Would ideally like them on the card, but it's not a deal breaker, so I'm just pleased to have it sorted. Thanks for the help.

I now have a separate issue regarding licenses, which I'll post in a new topic to keep things clear.

Chers
