I'm using ICS 4.04 on my nexus s, the new build seems fine on my unit, although i still get a few forced closures, but not really enough to spoil anything. Used it last weekend for a 6 mile walk, which went without fault.

Thanks, it seems the same as on gingerbread. Just need to sort out much reduced battery life with ICS now!

Initially I was getting TERRIBLE battery life after upgrading to ICS (50% in about 3 hours!!!) with the same settings as before but it seemed to improve tremendously after a few days - I now get 2 days out of the battery...............

I've set Wi-Fi to be inactive during sleep and I also turn off Data conection unless I need it. It's simpler to get to Data now, being one of the five top buttons in the home-screen notifications pull-down. My feeling is that it's actually the Data thing that's improved it all - but I haven't rechecked it.

As for MM, I haven't noticed any great difference as I don't use it too much - I have a Garmin Montana for my nav. stuff.

Hope this helps

I got rid of a couple of apps that were keeping the OS awake and gave ICS time to settle and now get around 50 hours life as opposed to 30 before
