There is a feature in the app which is really annoying when I am out in the hills. I have the UK OS:50 maps and some National Parks OS:25 maps on my Galaxy S2. When I am walking in an area outside the National Parks and using the OS:50 map, if I then try to zoom in on an area (eyes not what they were) the app flips to a blank area of OS:25 and tries to download some new 1:25000 map -- since there's no wifi and often no GPRS signal it can't do anything. So it is a pointless feature. Also, I would like me to decide when to use the different map scales, and not the app. Would it be possible to either delete this annoying feature or at least for me to be able to swithch it off?
