Hi All,

I have just installed the MemoryMap Android app and hope to use it on a bike ride in a weeks time. My father has devised a route and shared it with me as a GPX.

I have placed the file in the "/Download/Memory-Map" folder. And I am able to see it when I follow the " Menu, Overlays, Menu, Load" sequence.

Upon selecting the file, the screen flashes, but no entries appear within the marks, routes or tracks tabs, nor is the overlay visible on the map.

Is there a step or option that I am missing?

Any help most appreciated.

You're not missing anything out & that file shows a track on my device. What phone/tablet are you using & how are you uploading?

Just to confirm flyboy's post above the .GPX file you linked also worked fine on my Galaxy S2 running ICS 4.0.3

This is bug. Whenever I "Load Saved Data" to get a route into the "Routes" tab, it doesn't work properly:

After I "load saved data", the Bike Route item is visible in the main list of saved data. I tap on it to put it into the Routes tab. I go to the Routes tab and the Bike route isn't there. Another route seems to have duplicated itself. I ''back" out of the Route tab back to the main screen, then return to the Route tab via the menu and the Bike Route will now be visible, and can be tapped and then viewed on the map.

This consistently occurs with other routes I have either transferred to the phone or have created in MM on the phone and then hidden ("deleted") and tried to display later.

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, shortly after posting I dropped and smashed my phone, so I am unable to carry out any further testing! Hopefully the replacement will work better - I will report back the results.
