I do not have a problem with the OS 2012 map. I would like to use all of my os50 maps using the 'classic map compatibility Licence'

You need to copy the old map files to /sdcard/download/Memory-Map/DMS/OS 1:50K/xxxxx.qct

Thats where Memory map installed the map locations on mine, and will only see maps in this folder.

i can now read the old maps

Have copied the qct file to os50 sub folder within DMS sub folder within the Download folder but maps still not showing.
I wonder if the Memory Map app is not compatible with the latest Android 4.0.3 operating system

Could be so? I'm using the old Gingerbread 2.3 OS, and works fine?

MM here works as well on 4.0.4 as it does with 2.3.6.

MM version was 2.0.3-370 now 2.0.4-372 on a Nexus S with Gingerbread.
