Any idea how long it might last if you pair them together using an 'Exposure boost cable'?

The adventurer has a 2000mAh/7.4Wh 3.7V battery and on the back of the unit suggests it has a power cosumption of 5V+/- 900ma.

The piggyback http://www.exposurelights.com/product/000031/piggyback-single-cell/ single cell is 2600mAh. I dont know the voltage.

Exposure advertise the Boost Cable http://www.exposurelights.com/product/000084/boost-cable/ attached to the Adventurer.

Anyways, someone with an electrical mind, please tell me how long the unit can last attached to the adventurer, how many times could it charge it and how quickly.

Cheers in advance,

Hi,

That's quite an expensive way to buy a battery, but it may have the advantages of being weatherproof and maybe an attachment to handlebars if you need that. It will probably run for about as long as the Adventurer's internal battery, i.e. approximately double the running time.

If you want considerably more power (running time) then I'd suggest something like the following, although you will have to arrange a mounting method, etc.. They also do an 11,000 mAh version, but that's obviously larger and more expensive and sadly the navigation to "similar" components around that site seems very poor. Note the particular model linked below has no charger, I believe it uses a "micro" USB, sadly AFAIK the Adventurer uses "mini" USB, but adapters do exist.

Also try searching this forum (and the web) for portablepowersupplies (.co.uk).

Cheers, Alan.
