I have tried to migrate my OS maps across to my new phone running Ios5 however although the website tells me the maps are moved my phone can't access them! I've tried the advice of bulk download etc but this has failed.I have reloaded the app to no effect and that has caused newly downloaded maps to vanish, the ones I added on receiving the new phone and didn't migrate. Seems like memory map have a problem with ios5? Any ideas. I've had no previous problems until I decided to move the license.

Email Memory-Map tech-support, giving them your account sign-in name, and they will be able to help figure out your license migration problem.

No joy so far they just repeat the same thing, my worry is if I can't get back the maps and start again and find in the future my iPhone needs resetting the maps will be lost again it's already happened twice in the last week! Load a map, delete app, reload and sign in to account , map fails to reload. Very frustrating

Hi, got an e mail from Ron and replied so hopefully he may be able to help.
Completely reset the phone back to factory settings but hasn't helped. I can see the credits and download new tiles ,but any previously bought OS tles ( half the uk) will not reload. After using the App since it was released I am used to reloading if the old phone had a problem but this has left me stumped?

Snowglobe,

Have you 'jail broken' your iPhone in any way?
The reason I ask this is because the instructions you were supplied worked for the 2 iPhone's I updated to iOS5 here in the office, as well as every other user that has emailed or phoned with the same issue.

Thanks

Bought the iPhone direct from Apple & added my O2 sim card, not touched iits software apart from its settings, ringtones etc. The bulk download screen appears with a white progress line for 2 seconds then reverts back to the map types screen. I am better setting up as new user & starting all over again? The morning I did the migrate I downloaded some Tiles to my iPad the process froze several times.

Update: the lead developer has replicated the problem and is finding a solution? Great support on this from the company. Thanks

The problem was caused by the fact that you have performed several thousand activations, and the way these are re-created on the server in order to recover all the license data, was very inefficient. This was causing a timeout on the server, and your license file was not being downloaded correctly. We just changed some code on the server so this operation is much more efficient, and I understand everything is now working OK.

The iOS upgrade is causing increased load on our servers, so please be patient if downloading maps is slower than usual.
