when am leaving a trail on the map the trail line is straight from start to finish and not following where i have walked,,,is there away of fixing this

OPTIONS I HAVE ARE

record track while app is background.......off
compass heading when stationary...........off
velocity vector....................................off
velocity averaging................................off
vector timescale.........1 minute
averaging time scale..........30 seconds
colour ..........red

Turn record track while app is background.......off to ON and see if that fixes the issue for you.
