If you are having issues opening and/or saving overlay objects with the Pilot 7000 please perform the following:

Connect the device to the PC
Use Windows to explore the SD Card
Find the folder MEMORY-MAP
Find the folder SETTINGS
Find the file LOADSAVEFOLDER.INI and open it

This will show you a text file with the following line:

/SDMMC CARD/USERDATA

Edit this line so it shows:

/SDMMC/USERDATA

and save the file.
