My MemMap Adventurer S7000 has frozen. It started acting-up a few months ago, taking longer and longer to acquire a fix. Now, it will not acquire a GPS fix whether it's in Ventura Sat Nav mode or Mem Map OS mapping mode - it's completely frozen. It's used mostly in the car with an external antennae and it used to be very quick. I bought it last July (2011), so it's still under warranty. However, thought I would bounce this off other forum members before contacting MemMap. Any advice/information welcome. Warren Eastwood (2nd attempt at posting this request!)

Have you tried the unit without the external GPS and if so did it obtain a GPS fix?

Jason, Thanks for the response. Yes, I've tried everything - with and without the external antennae as well as removing and reinserting the SD card etc. It's still in a 'hung' state. Shall have to return the unit to Mem Map as it's still unuder warranty. Cheers, Warren
