 Post subject: Problomatic Start with my Adventurer 2800

Bit worried that on the day I've purchased the Adventurer 2800 i've had to hit the tech support forum..

anyway,

Problems :- when it boots up (Which it sometimes doesn't) I hit "MAPS" and nothing happens at all.. I can get into settings and "Picture".. do I have to install some software first to the unit ?

When I connect the device to my PC... memory map does not see it as a mobile device... is there a setting I'm missing ?

mmm, yes I have...

"Tap the Maps button to launch Memory-Map"... I tap it and NOTHING happens....
