Hi, I purchased a 2800 last year and all was great, although I didn't have much time to use it. In all I may have used it half a dozen times since. However, I needed it the other day, charged the battery, switched on, which all seemed OK until I hit the Maps button. Then, nothing happened, no maps were displayed. I know I have maps on my SD card as I can see them when I plug the 2800 into my PC. All looks OK apart from the maps not loading.

Any ideas why nothing happens when I hit the maps button?

Many thanks in advance.
Thanks and regards
Martin

I am sorry nobody has replied to this for you. Could you give us a few more details to work on please? I am not a 2800 expert as I have only had one a couple of months. But the only similar question that I saw answered was that the sd card was not making proper contact. So, perhaps you could take it out, clean it off and re-insert to see what happens and let us know.

Bri

Hi Martin,
The only time i had this trouble where nothing happened at all when the maps button pressed the sd card had corrupted which the support team rectified by returning the card.
I put this down to possibly an incorrect shutdown on the 2800.
Suggest you get in touch with support,
Nick
