MM,

I now have a htc desire and want to do a big trip this year which will mean buying 4 caa maps from you....i would be extremely grateful not to have to run this on my old windows phone....pretty please - you know it makes sense - the whole non-apple world are queueing up to buy android (i had to wait a month for my phone as the demand is so great).
Come on - give us a date!
And if you want a developer to write it for you - drop me an email....!

Thanks,
Steve

Add me to the list of people wanting a version for android. I've used MM for years very succesfully on WM devices but now my contract is up for renewal and my provider dosent even offer WM phones any more. I've no intention of going the iphone route and the HTC desire seems like the perfect replacment for my WM phone. All it needs is an OS map application. They do exsist now but I like MM and I dont want to have to replace maps I alrady have.

Looks like Memory map have lost my custom to Viewranger:

*URL Removed - This is not a forum for advertising other companies - Thanks Jason*

Android now outselling iphone OS in the states and MM has "no plans".

Viewranger also looks to be better-featured.

I've been a Memory Map customer for ages and now with a new Android phone would like to put it on that.
Very disappointing that there is no MM app. Get your act together or you will lose customers to Viewranger etc!

I also would like a port of MemoryMap to the Android platform, so that I can use my MM format OS maps. However, there is an application, Viewranger *URL Removed - This is not a forum for advertising other companies - Thanks Jason* which I will probably change to if the port does not happen. They do a trial download, which seems to work well.

Another to add to the list..... been using memory map on my HP PDA but have just upgraded to the HTC Desire and no memory map support....

Saying that Viewranger does look good. Would prefer to stay with memory map - and be able to use all of the UK mapping that I've paid for.

Look forward to hearing about Memory Map's plans....
