Could a software be made so that the battery level is shown all the time whatever the Adventurer 3500 is being used for.

Out cycling last weekend - just left a pub after a refreshment break. 5 miles down the road screen went black - battery was exhausted.

No battery indicator on map mode to show level. OK perhaps I should have checked the level before leaving the pub. As it was found myself sitting by the side of the road taking small screws off the back plate. Put a spare battery in and like all computers it didn't like being shut down suddenly. It played up a bit for the first few minutes before settling down again.

But all this could be avoided if there was a battery level indicator in the mode that it's used in most - Map Mode!!!
