Have I missed the specific instructions somewhere for downloading streetview?
What I want to do is activate streetview for the whole country on my PC as I have sufficient disc space.
However, despite instructions about drawing an enclosed area on the map etc., when I go to map shop to activate the 1:10000 maps it only seems to work on the currently displayed area. Does activate in this case mean download as I thought streetview was basically free (apart from £10 which I considered to be and administration fee).
If I try to load more that 100km sq at a time the resultant map list indicates that there are more maps in the list and I should select a smaller area and of course the 1:10000 map is in that extra list.
The only instructions I received when purchasing streetview was a link to http://www.memory-map.co.uk/downloads/DMS_guide.pdf which does not seem to work for streetview
How big would the streetview file be for the whole country as it seems to be taking an hour or so to activate (download?) a 100km square?

A bit more information on this.
In a post last year, Jason stated:
"Open the Memory-Map European Edition software and open a base map such as the 1:250K Road Atlas.
Scroll to the area you want to download in Streetview mapping, and use the route tool to draw around the area.
Right click on a route leg and select DIGITAL MAP SHOP > OS STREETVIEW > CONTINUE and the Streetview mapping will download for that selected area."
Just to say, I have also tried this method but the list contained about 100 maps (excluding streetview) and a message at the bottom saying:
"174 more available - search a smaller area"
and that smaller area equates to about one 100 metre square.
I am sure I downloaded the whole country on a previous occasion.
