Hi All,
Just joined the forum after coming across it whilst searching for same problems that other users have been having with the calibration. Using MMAP since early 2007 and came across this after using DMS 1/25k which I emailed MMAP about in April 2009 after noticing the mis-alignment when putting a mark on the Grid crossings.

Jason replied to my email and said they had replicated this error but not sure why, so after a few emails back and forth awaited some news, but nothing as yet ( some time later! )
As the error was only marginal 20m ish ( could of course be critical in some cases ) and only appeared on the DMS 1/25k ( Not my GB 50k or Lake district 25k map ) I could live with this minor issue.

Memory Map is an extremely useful tool for me when planning my mountain days, making much quicker work than it does with conventional paper maps, and combined with tough print means less to carry! Memory Map does nearly everything I could want from digital mapping and if they find a fix for this problem then great, but don't really want to revert to planning on paper in the near future!

Yep, this is really annoying is it not? I have had a little experiment with Anquet and ViewRanger. They do not have the same problem. I do not want to change as I have been with MM for years now. But this is the sort of error which brought me down in the wrong valley when coming down from Scafell Pike!!
