I'm looking for a Projection data file (Position format -> other grid) for scanned maps of Belgium. The used grid on these maps is International Spheroid 1924 - Unified European Geodetic System 1951, Belgian Lambert Projection.
According to my Garmin GPS: UTM UPS ED50.

I can calibrate them using UTM/WGS84 but it would be nicy to have the same coordinates on the paper map and in MM

I suggest you go ahead and calibrate your maps using UTM/WGS84. You can then fine-tune your calibration using the method suggested at viewtopic.php?f=55&t=2845 - see near the bottom of the page under Final Straw. I don't know how far out your Belgian maps might be in terms of datum shift but using the Google Earth method should get your calibration spot-on. Hope this helps.

No it is not an issue concerning data-shift. The maps are perfect calibrated using UTM/WGS84. But there is a grid printed on the Belgium-maps according to the information on the maps: International Spheroid 1924 - Unified European Geodetic System 1951, Belgian Lambert Projection. I was just looking for a way to have these coordinates shown in MM. Something like the NZMG and NZTM Position Formats.

BTW I don't realy understand the data-shift, when is that used?
