I am trying to import a self scanned map, and have followed the Help instructions diligently. The image has been saved as a .png (indexed 256 colours). If this file is in the search path when the Map List is refreshed, Memory Map always crashes.

I am running the European Edition Version 5.4.2 Build 1089.

Additional data:
I have installed and used previous versions of Memory Map on earlier computers. I have successfully created self scan maps. I have tried one of these on my new installation. If the .jpr and .qct files are in the Map List search path, I can use the map. If I include the .png file used previously to create these two files, Memory Map crashes.
