Dear MM, OK here's my gripe, wish, lament and frustration; I have been a MM user from day 1 and all was well as long as i was able to transfer my Maps via WiFi. Now that is no longer possible. So, here's my lament ... I am now a total Apple computer and smartphone/Ipad user with no easy facility to use a PC. Now I run the risk, using Itunes of changing the configuration on my Iphones, Ipads every time I want to upload the "laundered" (cleanse- change to the .qct format) charts from a PC via Itunes ... I know that if I fool around long enough I can get these charts loaded to my Ipads and Iphones but it is just not worth the time consuming effort ... not having an Apple software version of MM and taking away the WiFi capability has made using MM not a viable solution anymore. I don't understand why you would write software for the Apple's Ipad and Iphone and then expect users to have to use a PC to be able to upload the Charts to these devices. I get my charts from NOAA in BSB format and because I have to "launder" them through a PC to change to the Dot QCT format, removing the WiFi capability, has caused me too many problems and lots of time to get these charts to the Ipads/Iphones. Why not write an Apple version of MM and not charge us a GaZillion dollars - this would make your program usable again - for me anyway. I cannot keep using these devices in Itunes, on both PC/Apple computers and not have my configuration (Back up, Apps, contacts data) be subject to change or loss of info - I prefer to set them up on the Mac computer Itunes program and need to be able to transfer the .qct charts using this arrangement. If this is not possible, then I will have to find another program - you are not the only horse in the stable - no matter how good your MM program works. Why did you eliminate the WiFi option?? If I am missing something and there exists an easy way to transfer these chart files to my devices ... Please let me know!! I think MM is an awesome program but if I can't get my files uploaded without doing virtual gymnastics between 2 computer Operating Systems, then it becomes a pretty Icon and another unused APP taking up valuable space.
