I have streetview for all of UK which works fine. Does anyone know of any other 'free' OS maps which we will be able to download on to Mem Map? And if so where and how? Thanks! Roy

Just returning to do more of this after my brief usage some weeks ago, and have a couple of other questions please:

1. I'm downloading a larger area using a defined route. If this includes sections of OS Street view that have previously been downloaded. does the new download skip those to save wasting time an duplicating space used?

2. Is there some way to view at a glance all the UK areas for which I have street view coverage?

3. If I decided I could afford the storage space (how much, BTW?), is the only way to draw a route around the whole of mainland UK?

Hi Terry,

1. Yes, AFAIK, provided that you haven't changed the file name.

2. No, not AFAIK, you can only zoom out as far as possible. So keep a "category" containing the routes that you've used to create the downloads.

3. The full UK is just over 10GB in .QC3 format or about 18GB in .QCT format (imported directly from OS Opendata) and the final answer is that it's probably the best way.

Cheers, Alan.

Have downloaded large area (Glasgow urban area) onto PC and then onto A2800 and activated it OK. But while most of the area is A1 and legible the peripheral areas of the downloaded/activated areas are incompletely activated on th A2800. They are fine on the PC. Any ideas please?
