MM do not supply instructions for idiots.

Please correct me if I get any points wrong, but what we need is idiots instructions.

Uploading/downloading onto unit is reasonbly well covered in their instructions.
Its acual usage where they fall very short.

Once you have a route on the unit, zoom in and touch and hold part of the trail. release and then select follow route.
Finally you can follow the arrow which points the way.

When you first switch the unit on, it will automatically start tracking you, at the end of your walk/run etc, select cross hammers, overlay and save as. select kbd at bottom right of screen and save. If you switch off unit without saving, you will lose your track.

Track means you are being tracked.
Route means you are following route.

Please copy and past these basic instructions and add to your basic instructrions and post on this site and we can slowly build a basic manual between us users as MM seem incompetant at writing a basic manual.

I'd hate to sound pedantic but this information is in the User Guide. It is on page 6 under the heading 'Viewing your GPS Position' and on page 7 under the heading 'Working with Routes, Marks, and Tracks'

Thanks
