As a GPX file cannot have properties like colour, width, etc, when I open one I assume that it always inherits the 'Default Style', regardless of how it looked at the time I saved it?

In practice, I save my original MMO files (from imported walks etc) as GPX. This allows flexibility to use them in other applications. But when re-importing to Mem-Map I then usually have to restore their original appearance, which can be tedious. How do others work with GPX? Duplicate them as MMO, perhaps?
