To see the Index in Memory-Map.
- Download and Save the Index file shown here to your PC. (Tip: Remember to make a note of the name of the Folder where you choose to save the file. We recommend c:/maps)
- Start Memory-Map and use the Overlay, Import menu command to locate the same folder above and select the file called ww_routes.mmo.
- Now you can use the Overlay, Show All and Hide All commands to see the following icons:

Gentle Stroll: the walk is likely to be under 3 miles, well-surfaced, and could be done in almost any type of footwear. |

Easy Walk: the walk is likely to be under 7 miles, paths and tracks are easily walked in any weather. |
 |
Moderate Walk: the walk is likely to be more than 7 miles, and may have obstacles, like badly maintained styles. The walk should be done in boots or walking shoes. |
 |
Hill Scramble: the route may require some mild scrambling - the use of hands as well as feet - but the dangers are limited. Walking the route in winter should be carefully assessed. |

Mountain Challenge: the walk reaches higher altitudes where weather conditions can change rapidly. The group should always have an experienced leader. Walking the route in winter would require specialist skills. |

Select your walk, double click on the icon and you'll go on-line to the Walkingworld website. Here you'll see a FREE description of the route and a rough map guide. |

Members then have unlimited access to complete step-by-step guides with detailed directions and pictures to help you find your way. You'll also be able to download the route and waypoints straight into your Memory-Map software so you can print your own map from your Memory-Map. Ordnance Survey map collection.GPS users can also download the routes & waypoints straight from Memory-Map.
