The article has been updated successfully.Every SD card that is used inside the Adventurer 2800 needs to have the GPS licenced activated on it. The SD card inside the unit should already be licenced, but if you are using a new SD card it will need to be licenced first.
To do this connect the Adventurer to your PC and tap the USB Mass Storage button. On your PC start Memory-Map and tap Help > Licence Management > SD Card and then select GPS Features and click Activate.
You may need to enter your serial number if you have not already. Each serial number can activate the GPS licence on up to 2 SD cards.
When I start Memory-Map on my Adventurer 2800 I get the message "Basic GPS Features not activated" or similar
