| BETT Awards 2006
- Memory-Map shortlisted |
|
After
only being involved with The BETT Show for the last two years,
Memory-Map was proud to have been shortlisted for the Secondary
Software; Content and Tools Category of the 2006 BETT Awards.
The Awards are an ideal opportunity for Memory-Map to demonstrate
to other educational establishments that the software can bring
a new dimension to geography lessons.
John
Sutton from Creative ICT visited BETT 2006 and gave Memory-Map
his personal vote of "Best Curriculum Software" at
the Show.
"It's
a brilliant piece of software that will take a digital Ordnance
Survey map and give you a 3D image of the landscape and the
ability to fly through it. It can be bought with eLCs and includes
a 35 user licence - it is such good value for money."

| "What the teachers
have to say" |
|
- David
Rayner, Geography Teacher – Grammar School for Girls,
Wilmington, Kent
" Memory-Map V5 brings the teaching of map skills firmly into the 21st century.
At long last mapwork in schools is fun - pupils love using the easy to use software
and are excited by their ability to create routes and instant cross-sections.
The ability to quickly create 3D landscapes and then fly across them is the icing
on the cake."
- Tim
Fulford - Schoolzone Evaluator
" Memory-Map is a sophisticated navigation tool which can be used for the
teaching of basic map work skills, through to analysis of routes, settlements
and land forms."
