With Memory-Map, you can plan a route on your PC then print your own personalised route maps at a scale that suits your needs. You can make programming a GPS much easier, faster and more accurate by transferring the route directly from your PC. Not only that but you can also review your performance and actual route taken by importing a GPS tracklog back into your PC and overlaying it on a map of your choice.

Use Memory-Map on a Pocket PC and with a GPS connected, see your position real-time on a moving map display.

For areas where digital maps are not available it is possible to scan and geo-reference paper maps.

Note: The user is responsible for ensuring the original publishers copyright approval is obtained before importing or using self-scanned maps and charts.

	Trip Monitor - click anywhere on the tracklog to review position, speed, time and distance covered

	Program routes and waypoints into a Handheld GPS
	Proximity Alarm - Create your own hazardous zones on a map or chart. An audible alarm is activated when you enter the zone.

Minimum System Requirements
These are the minimum requirements to use Memory-Map. If you are unsure whether your PC, Pocket PC, Smartphone or GPS meets the requirements then we recommend testing with the FREE TRIAL download and sample maps.
Maps can be copied to PC (recommended) or used from CD/DVD.
PC: Microsoft Windows Vista, XP or 2000. 256Mb RAM, 200Mb hard-disk space. Minimum PC screen resolution 800 x 600. 3D-World™ requires Microsoft Direct-X graphics support.
Pocket PC: Microsoft Pocket PC 2000, Windows Mobile, for Pocket PC 2002 or later with ActiveSync connection. 16Mb RAM. Additional storage card recommended.
Smartphone & PND: Check phone & PND compatibility at www.memory-map.co.uk
GPS: Garmin, Lowrance, Magellan, Navman, Silva, Suunto or NMEA/SiRF compatible. Some GPS units do not support all mark, route, track and heart rate features - check compatibility at www.memory-map.co.uk or ask your GPS supplier.
